17th Annual Optimist Car Show & Chili Cook-Off is on July 19, 2008
Presented by the Optimist Club of Redlands, in shaded Sylvan Park, this show features 350+ automobiles with Best of Class awards for cars in numerous categories. 100% of the proceeds benefit youth programs. Entry Forms for the Car Show are available here.
2008 REDLANDS THEATER FESTIVAL – Weekly Plays in Prospect Park
The Repertory season runs July 11 – August 23, 2008.
This year’s plays include, Big River , Beehive-The 60’s Musical Sensation, Tuesdays with Morrie, Beautiful Bodies, and The Good Doctor . FIRST FRIDAYS
DRBA (Downtown Redlands Business Association) sponsors FIRST FRIDAYS Entertainment is scheduled for Ed Hales Park, located on 5th and State Street, on the first Friday of every month. For more information contact Joni Mena at the Downtown Redlands Business Association, (909) 798-7629.
2008 REDLANDS BOWL SUMMER MUSIC FESTIVAL
All programs begin at 8:15 p.m.; Community Sing begins at 7:15 p.m.
No Admission Charge / Freewill Offering
The annual Festival offers a wide variety of professional programs including symphonies, ballet, opera, light opera, folk/culturally diverse music and dance, jazz and much more. The 2008 Season Schedule has been announced with performances begin at 8:15 p.m. each Tuesday and Friday evening from the end of June through the end of August.
