Joan Baez
Joan Baez is a noted American folk singer and songwriter who wrote and sang about freedom and Civil Rights, during the 1960's and 1970's. With a career that expands nearly five decades, Baez wrote famous songs such as "Diamonds & Rust" and "The Night They Drove Old Dixie Down". She has released over 30 albums and recorded songs in over eight languages. Baez lived in Redlands from 1950-1956, while her father taught physics at the University of Redlands.
