6/26/2008 - Museum Open on Independence Day The San Bernardino County Museum in Redlands will be open from 9 am to 5pm on Independence Day, Friday, July 4. Regular admission fees will apply. Visitors will be able to see special exhibits: “All That Glitters: a century of razzle-dazzle,” “A Feast for the Eyes: dining in style, 1860s to 1940s,” “Sticks and Stones: vernacular architecture in San Bernardino County,” and “A Piece of My Heart: samplers from the collectors.” The museum’s permanent exhibits present history, anthropology, geology, paleontology, and biological sciences in a regional context. The San Bernardino County Museum is at the California Street exit from Interstate 10 in Redlands. Admission is $6 (adult), $5 (student or senior) and $4 (child ages 5 to 12).
