3/19/2009 - Local Non-Profit Holistic Living Educational Organiation to Hold Spring Plant Sale Redlands, CA, March 19, 2009—The community-based non-profit, Redlands Aromatherapy Foundation, Inc., will be holding a spring plant sale at The Spiritual Treatment Center, 602 No. Church St. on April 4th from NOON to 3PM. Since 2007, RAF has worked to educate San Bernardino County residents on the benefits of a holistic lifestyle. RAF’s community outreaches include two themed gardens on the campus of Clement Middle School, and the addition of multi-sensory vegetation to the LaFourcade Community Garden on the campus of the University of Redlands. Additionally, the organization provides sensory hanging baskets for the residents of Crestview Convalescent Hospital in Rialto; donations of organic vegetable seeds to child care providers at a local symposium given by First 5 of San Bernardino; plus other community events, including educational outreaches focused on the use of water-wise vegetation, gardening as therapy, and holistic stress management techniques. This event will be held in our meditative demonstrative garden, located at 602 No. Church St. on April 4th from NOON to 3PM, and will include: lots of fragrant herbals as well as regionally suited flowering annuals and perennials, custom blended aromatherapy, herbal refreshments.
